C. Maureen Rice

Certified Interior Decorator

Maureen launched TaDa! Interiors in 2002, following her graduation with honours from Algonquin College’s Residential Décor program—and a lifelong dream to bring inspiring spaces to life. With more than two decades of hands-on experience, she blends creative vision, technical know-how, and deep attention to detail into every project.
Her approach is equal parts thoughtful and inventive. Known for thinking beyond the obvious, Maureen finds fresh, unexpected solutions that elevate a space without sacrificing function. She’s meticulous with the finishing touches—and never loses sight of the big picture.
As a former cast member on HGTV’s Design U (seasons 2–4), Maureen showcased her skills under pressure, delivering high-impact projects on tight timelines and limited budgets. Under her first name Christina on the show, she put her craftsmanship to work as a drapery seamstress, upholsterer, and hands-on assistant to the carpentry team.
Clients come back to Maureen time and again—not only for her talent, but for the warm, collaborative relationships she builds. Her designs reflect the people who live and work in them, thoughtfully tailored to individual style, needs, and budget.
Outside the studio, Maureen is a proud wife and mom of two who finds joy in gardening, unwinding through yoga, and exploring her creativity through various craft and textile arts. These personal passions often inspire elements in her design work, bringing organic beauty and mindful tranquility to her projects.

Joanna Dyment Carrasco

Certified Interior Decorator

Joanna brings a deeply people-first approach to interior decorating—shaped by her background in sociology and a lifelong love of art and design. Raised by a professional artist, she grew up surrounded by creativity, colour, and the belief that beautiful environments can transform how we feel.
After years in hospitality, Joanna developed a sharp eye for how comfort and aesthetics work together in real life. Her time in the service industry honed her attention to detail, spatial flow, and the importance of design that supports human connection.
She later formalized her skills at Algonquin College, graduating with honours from the Interior Decorating program. Today, she brings both warmth and professionalism to every project—focused on spaces that feel personal, welcoming, and lived-in.
Joanna’s designs are inspired by her love of travel, drawing from global textures, colours, and patterns to create interiors with character and depth. As a mother of two, she understands that design must work for everyday life—and her work always balances beauty with livability.
Her clients value not just her creative eye, but her ability to listen deeply and translate vision into reality. Many become long-term partners as their lives evolve, with Joanna adapting their spaces to meet changing needs while keeping the spirit of the original design intact.
